Campy 10 speed wheelset help
Campy 10 speed wheelset... is this FMV? 
This is at least the cassette config I need right now. Looking for a distance training setup for an 05 Klein.

Depends upon which hubs the wheel set was built on. Record, or Chorus hubs; price is good. Anything less; not so much.

There does look to be some wear on the middle cogs but it's hard to evaluate a modern cassette from pics. You really need to take it apart and inspect the cogs to know what kinda shap it's in.

So, they're Daytona (Centaur?) hubs. It seems according to Peter White's old pages that the internals for Record, Chorus and Daytona from this period are identical. Still a good buy?
And for any Campagnolo gurus, should this be an easy fit with a 2005 Centaur gruppo?

To me the Daytona hubs were just that little nicer than the Centaurs with their plastic adjustment collars and phillips head adjustment screws.
Just don't care much for the rest of the wheel
The cassette looks ok to me, but I would expect to pay a lot less for the complete package.

I think there are lots of way more attractive options these days than the CXP 33s.
I like that it's a pretty reliable and sturdy rim but it's a very old fashioned and limiting design otherwise and I would want that reflected in the price.
After all these wheels are likely around 15 years old if not older.

Maybe ask him for a pic of the complete wheelset and brake track and offer him $150 for the pair --- CXP-33's are reportedly nice rims for bigger guys

Daytona were nice hubs, with the alu axle and superior cup and cone bearing system. The cheaper Campagnolo hubs (Veloce and down) used cartridge bearings. CXP33 rims are pretty beefy. The cassette looks in good condition.
$200? If the hub internals were silky smooth, and the freehub was not locked up with corrosion, and the rim walls had 90% + of their life left, and the spokes had not pulled through the rim walls, and there was no rim cracking around the spoke nipples, and a dozen of other like potential 'gotchas', then I would pay it.
BTW: Campagnolo hubs require yearly servicing, if used regularly, This involves cleaning/regreasing the pawl area in the freehub, plus the main hub bearings. For someone good, this takes about 30 minutes.
