Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Bike Fitting Issue

Hello everyone! I have a question to the community. About 8 months ago I got a new carbon BMC Teammachine in 61cm. Being 6'3" I always rode 61cm bikes (Specialized primarily). The 61cm BCM seemed like a good fit when I had a chance to test ride it at the store. Well, now is the riding season, and I realize that the bike's racing geometry feels a bit too long for me, especially on the handlebars. I can ride on the hoods for up to 12 miles, but then go back to the handlebars. Riding on the drops feels actually the same as riding on the hoods. Now, the question is, are there any exercises that will allow me to stretch my body to be able to adjust to this new geometry? I do love the bike, and my ideal preference is to see what I can do to make it a better fit, as well as how can (outside of putting time on the bike) my body adjust to this new riding position? Thanks everyone for your help!
