To make matters worse, the police enact a restrictive pursuit policy, so those high speed drivers (100+MPH on roads posted at or under 55MPH) are intentionally reckless & careless driving to the extreme.

I think that's why the bike lane is clearly labeled as a bike lane. Prove me wrong.

Sounds Like a dare, but haven’t taken those up since grammar school. I am sure there is someone willing to take you up since the BF is full of debate.

I have found there are those who see life either in terms of black and white and those who see life in shades of grey. Black and white makes decision making really easy, grey, not so much.

Maybe you can bait someone else. But this homey don’t play dat.

SO my ride yesterday took me on an MUP for just two miles. During that short stretch, I lost count of how many peds/runners were insisting on using the bicycle lanes instead of the ped lane, and 2 of them crossed over to the ped lane when they saw me coming, and 4 times it was congested enough that I could not get through safely. Walkers in the ped lane, cyclists coming the other direction in their lane, and walkers in my lane playing chicken. Same as usual, I came to a complete stop as close to the fence as I could, and just watched as the inconsiderate peds brushed by me. Had I kept riding in any position on that path, I would have had no more than 24" to squeeze through.

OK, I've moved back north for the summer, so this is no longer an issue.

Never mind.

It's not the walkers I worry about. It's the 3 dogs that they are trying to control.
