Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I have a 17° black Bontrager stem on there now, and the whole face plate is silver. So this one with a black face plate should look a lot better.

I've been getting more flexible as time goes on and have been wanting to get rid of my 17° "happy" looking stem for awhile now.

I read that acetone will strip the labeling off, I've never tried though.

I think it depends, I placed a large order through them and had it in a week...a couple of weeks after that, I placed an order for a saddle and it took a month. It's a toss up. But if you don't need the tires right away, it's a great deal and worth stocking up for future use.

This is true and not. I placed 2 orders one day apart. The first order arrived in a week or so. The second order took a month.

I never order them in a hurry... get more than 6 and just be patient... it's $36 after all... half price of retail with no shipping charges...

What's the shelf life on those tires, though? Won't there be some dry rotting issues after awhile?

Jenson USA GT Fury DH Bike

I have found an online coupon which states "32% off on GT Fury DH Bike". I have attached an image to this post too. If anyone is interested can use this coupon from https://www.ezcouponsearch.com/Jenson...s_cm_1774.aspx . I am also looking for a mountain bike and i really like this one. What do you say folks. Is it a good choice or should i go for something else.

As long as you don't plan to do anything but downhill riding, that GT DH sled should be fine.

Dang, I placed the order for a different stem on Monday but they didn't even process my payment until Wednesday and sent it USPS. Be lucky to get it next week.

Not so sure about this Penn Cycle place.

Eh? What is there to be sure about? They're a small, local B&M chain; they're a fine store, not an internet superseller.

and now chainlove keeps posting di2 wiring items at about 85% off.

Man, with the items @gc3 has for sale and these sales, you could probably get the full dura ace di2 for under a grand. Kind of wish I was paying better attention today.
