Catrike Villager Chain Tube "Clicking"
I have a Catrike Villager I purchased 7 months ago. There is a new "clicking" sound apparently coming from where the chain
goes through the chain tube. The local bike store where I purchased the Villager hears the clicking as well but is unable to
diagnosis a problem. The mechanic states that he does not like the design feature of the trike using this tube.
Has anyone else had this problem? Know of a fix?
This particular chain of bikestores only recently started handling Catrikes and I just wonder if they have the experience needed.
Appreciate any help or suggestions,

Chain tubes shouldn't cause any noise. If the chain enters/exits at an angle, and the tube isn't flared, it can make some noise. I have tubes on the power side of several bikes and they're quiet. While I dislike using tubes to route chains, the Villager only uses it for slap control on the return side (protecting paint and steering parts,) which is perfectly appropriate.
Are the chain tubes mounted per the picture on the Catrike site? When does the clicking happen - once per chain revolution or more often?
