Just bought a very used Kona Ute in the same price range, wish I had seen this sooner.

Any leads or advice on retro-fit for carrying 4 year old?
Hi!
First time posting! Looking for any info about a set up similar to the Xtra-cycle Hooptie/ Yuba Monkey Bars but adapted for the Envoy?
Also looking to keep the little guy's feet out the spokes (when I take off the panniers)
Cheers for any help!

Don't know what you decided on but I just bought a front rack last night. It is by Dutch Dog Design and mounts to the frame. It will probably get to me faster than the Envoy will even though I ordered the Envoy several days earlier.

As I understand it, the spring 'rights' or centers the front wheel. This is helpful for avoiding tipping when on stand and generally when it is necessary to lift this long and heavy bike. Several of these long cargoes have this feature.

So how has this held up after 3 years? Is it fine to use for daily bike even when not loaded with anything?

I can't speak to 3 years, but all those tubes make for one SOLID bike. It's like a truss frame. You are riding on a small section of suspension bridge. And the 2.4" tires roll way more easily than I thought. What are you waiting for? These things are getting very hard to find I hear. Oh, they aren't $500 anymore. I paid $750 USD a year ago. An absolute bargain. If there is a better bike value going I want to see it.
