Faster than Superman
On the weekend, I looked at the upcoming forecast for the week, (I cycle to and from work for as long as I can) and noticed that there was the possibility of icy road conditions. I live about 400km/250mi north of Toronto Canada.
I decided to install the studded winter tires I bought a couple of years ago but had never installed them before. To my surprise, they didn't fit, despite my rims being 700c and the tires also being 700x38 but the tires are ERTO 656 and my rims are 622. I decided to order the right size, Schwalbe Marathon Winter 622x30.
I ordered them online at about 830 Sunday evening. Given the statement on their website about possible delays due to covid, I was prepared to receive them in several weeks, too late for this fall, but in time for next spring. They arrived Tuesday at 2pm, 46hrs after placing the order, wow! They came all the way from the fulfillment center in Ferndale Washington to my front door, across the border lickity split, faster than Superman?
Again, wow! Thanks Schwalbe!

nice! no snow but you're ready! I hate it when it snows or other precip & aside from deciding about riding, if I want to, I then have the task of swapping tires, ugh
