This is shown with and without the extended handlebar nacelles. Truly reduces windchill. I should have put wool socks on this morning, but my toes were the only part of me that felt cold.
The tapered Tailbox is key to obtaining a speed advantage however. The other version with large panniers doesn’t have the speed this one does.
I believe the LED Lighting is very important, and I’ve recently converted to LiFePO4 batteries, for the lighting system. This bike has two new motorcycle headlights, marker lights, brake lights, a few LED strip lights, and other flashing lights. Also has a voltmeter and USB Charger in the dashboard.
Todays ride was highlighted by a cup-o-soup, that was prepared by adding hot water that I brought along in a thermos in the Tailbox. Snow flurries were falling, and hot soup was perfect .
