The last Expanse book
Got it for Xmas. I've only read a couple chapters, but the magic is still there.
That's pretty much it, if you've read the other 8 books, this is de rigueur.
If you haven't, the first book of the series is fantastic.
This is nothing like Star Trek. No ray guns, going fast not only hurts, the g forces can kill you. Everybody makes mistakes constantly, it's amazing humanity survives.
In my distinctly unhumble opinion, this will be regarded as a classic beyond scifi.

While I read other stuff, I am always reading the Expanse. Most of the books I've read a dozen times or more. I started book 3, Abbadons gate, this morning.

Great, then I just have to read it. Books are my hobby, but very often I don't have enough time to read due to a lot of homework. Therefore, I often turn to https://edubirdie.com/pay-for-research-papers for help in order not to sit at the lessons for a long time, but to do my own business more. This is a convenient service where you can pay for a research paper and get a decent high-quality article.

I've only watched the show but (except for the macguffin) it seems to be pretty standard 1940's style atomic rocket ships played pretty straight. I really liked the guy playing the detective, the lady in the ship crew, and the UN lady.
But really we watch this kind of show for the elaborate space fatalities, right? The tether and the helmet and the radiation

I've been putting off watching the final season (wanted to wait until I could binge them and then my Zwift racing season restarted in the time I would have watched it) of the show, and I have all of the books, but felt I need to put some time between watching the show and reading the books so that I can mentally treat them as 2 separate things (apparently certain main characters in the show are amalgams of several different characters from the books or invented whole cloth for the show and things like that).

I just started season 6 of the series. So far I have REALLY enjoyed it. Makes me want to pick up the books and give them a read.
