American Horror Story Asylum - 8/10 Hard to follow at times, but creepy & sexual.

Another Breaking Bad Vote 10/10. I don't even have Network or Cable, but I still buy the DVDs. (Best show I've seen since the Wire.)
I have to disagree about the Enterprise--weakest series in the Star Trek franchise, IMO. Even worse than Captain Janeway's comical helium voice. And Enterprise's opening theme is a deuchey Christian Rock ballad that makes me want to commit harakiri on my inner ear organs.

Yeah, I liked Fringe. Sorry to see it go, but at least they quit before it wandered too far off the reservation....

Because of when it is on I've caught a lot of reruns of the old 'The Rifleman' series.
I found one aspect I really like. Figure 80% of the time it comes to some shootout and you know McKane is going to win and the bad guy is going to die.
What you don't know is if the intended victim(s) are going to die or live happily ever after. Often you have a good idea, but a fair percentage are a toss up. Much more interesting that way.

Saw the Game of Thrones Season 3 finale last night 8/10. It was good although a bit tamer after the previous episode. I wonder how the next few seasons will go while they wait for Martin to finish at least the 6th book. I read where the producers have a plan for 8 seasons total regardless of whether Martin finishes or not. Having read all 5 books I think the action slows considerably.

After more than a year since my last post, I can see that things have changed significantly.
I fell out of the habit of the new NCIS episodes; thinking about it before starting to post this, it seems that most of my TV watching is like "bathroom reading", designed only to be a small distraction. Hardcore Pawn, Operation Repo, South Beach Tow, and I watch a fair amount of the UFC. Man V. Food reruns, too, but I don't look to the box for serious entertainment any more.
Don't ask me why, I don't have an answer. Maybe it's because nothing else measures up to riding and indulging my taste buds.....

Caught the SHIELD premiere last night. It was okay. Wasn't blown away but I'll give it a go for a little while anyway.
Tried to get into Under the Dome since I read the book but the series doesn't do it for me.

I'm enjoying Brooklyn 99, and it's great to have New Girl back. Still ticked about Happy Endings being gone.
Also caught SHIELD last night - been really excited for this season to start. I'll agree it was just alright. Great to have Coulson back, but the story wasn't great. The whole thing seemed predictable and cliche. But hopefully it'll get better. Gotta have faith in Joss Whedon. Man knows what he's doing.
Looking forward to Nashville coming back tonight, though!

Futurama will be sorely missed at our house. Over the entire show's run, even the less-than-stellar episodes were enjoyable and entertaining. R.I.P. - 9/10
Under the Dome wasn't horribly bad. But, I think they should have wrapped up the story as a one-season mini-series. I'm on the fence about whether I'll return to watch more next summer, but at the moment I'm inclined to not bother. - 5.5/10
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia took a couple of episodes to hit its stride, (which seems to be the case every year), but the show is firing on all cylinders now, and it's delicious. - 9/10
Arrested Development was one of those TV shows that we knew we probably should have been watching when it was originally on, but we just never got around to checking it out. Over the last several weeks, though, we've been watching it on DVD, (thanks Netflix!). The show tends to be kind of predictable at times, but for the most part we're really liking it so far. - 7.5/10
Returning shows that we're eagerly anticipating:
The Walking Dead
American Horror Story: Coven
Upcoming new show that has potential:
The Crazy Ones (new Robin Williams/Sarah Michelle Gellar sitcom)

Breaking Bad - 11/10. That show is just mind-blowing.

Haven't kept up with It's Always Sunny in the last 2 seasons I think. It just seemed to go downhill a lot from the first 3 or so seasons.
I too have been doing a first-run of Arrested Development. Always wanted to watch it originally, but never had a chance. I'm almost done with season 3 and I am loving it. It's got a ton of actual LoL moments.
Last night's Nashville was pretty alright. Glad to have new TV back!
