I've been getting the occasional R080 for less than $50. I had an R085 I felt really good about getting for about $65, but someone rode away with the Ridge Runner, and I haven't been able to locate one recently. I hear some observed trials guys appreciate them, I like gliding past before the dogs wake up. Supplies are low or non-existant, and there are no substitutes. How much do you want?

I am not sure I ever heard of these the idea of silently passing someone is intruging, not that I actually pass alot of people. This could be built into a road wheel right?

Couldn't you just keep pedaling to avoid the freewheeling noise? Assuming your drivetrain is not noisier than the freewheel..

Not that I pass anyone, but I deliberately coast past folks to kill the chain noise (I ditched the shifters and converted to single cog last year, so that's not much) so that all they hear is my tires. I'm now getting pretty good at dodging the leaves, twigs and loose pebbles. I also have a Chris King "angry bee" hub so I can contrast that with it. Unless I'm on my place by the Skeena, dodging Kermode Bears, I see no use in ruining the placidity of where I'm at. That's usually what I rode out there for, in the first place.
The little roller clutch will grab anywhere around its axis, there's no teeth or cogs, and I've heard that works out well for some trials riders, I'd hate to see these hubs get like V-8 Gremlins and disappear from the common marketplace.

Road Wheel

@Bianchigirl1: If you're thinking of a wheel for rim brakes, look at these: https://www.ebay.com/itm/230728691455...84.m1438.l2649
I want disc so I can quit having to get off and walk my bike down the steep parts.

This is my old one. Not commonly laced into a 24" rim. If you see one like that, its probably mine. Stolen at Gold Mine Hill in San Francisco March 16, 2012. One more post and I'll be able to PM you folks.
