I recently took my favorite bike (Yeti SB66) out on this trail and loved it!

Is this what you biked?
The Northeast Texas Trail is a former rail corridor that stretches 130 miles from Farmersville to New Boston.

The trail itself is mostly fine. Some areas get up to 10" standing water for days after a rain.

I would like to see where the $25 million dollars of funding went to because the website can't cost more than $50.

The 'trail' is actually a bunch of trails locally managed by volunteers. The $25mil at this point is still mostly in the bank. Grant proposals are made and funded to upgrade sections, with grading and drainage, crushed stone surfacing, decking the old tressels and the star attraction: replacing the big bridge over the Sulfur River. Engineering estimates indicate the funding is adequate.

Easy to carp and complain.

Impressive to volunteer and accomplish.

Roxton to Clarksville today pretty much represents the final vision and condition of the entire trail when complete.

I'm more of a donate money type of guy. And I would like to donate to this cause, but not the way it is right now. For me, it all starts with the website. With all the money they have received I cannot understand how the website is such garbage.
