This is an amazing tour.
I have had a negative experience with Merry Sales in the handling of the Chinese replica Eagle (Bendix) 2-speed hub.
Although it was supposed to be a parts compatible remake of the original, shortcuts taken by the manufacturer made it very low quality.
My contacts with MS on this were inconsistent, some helpful, some ghosting. Replacement parts had no improvement in quality, and quickly self destructed.
I decided not to further pursue those issues with them, as I didn't feel like it was really their fault.

A Company sorta doing their Thing in the C&V Realm
Russ and the crowd at Path Less Pedaled talk to the SomaFab/Merry Sales people. Seems like the Merry Sales people are still making things happen in that ever thinning slice of bicycle parts that seem to cater to the C&V enthusiasts. Just a share here, because I think it could hold some insight to this merry band of misfits on this discussion group.

What I really want is a copy of that amazing painting. So very early 20th Century and gorgeous.

The discussion on the loss of tooling and capacity due to market shrinkage is pretty sad and enlightening.
