Question Battery pack re-celling

Which battery pack brand is the most re-celling friendly?

If I want to buy an e-bike that allows me to replace the cells of the battery without throwing the whole battery pack away every time I need a new battery, which battery pack brand should I be looking for?

You might try the ebikemarketplace in Las Vegas; AFAIK, they rebuild packs.

Ebikes with dolphin battery packs are easiest to re-cell, so I'd go with an ebike that has one. The sky's the limit when it comes to brands of ebikes.

Thanks.

I am not allowed to post pictures yet.

You mean external battery packs that look like the google result for dolphin "battery pack" I guess?

Are all integrated battery packs hard to re-cell or just the packs of specific brands that make it deliberately difficult?

They can be re-celled as well. It just requires the ability to do the job. Me, personally? Ain't gonna happen!

NONE of them are easy to "re-cell." First problem- All cells must match in output of the pack is only as good as the worst battery. Taking it aPART IS NOT EASY, AND ESPECIALLY NOT EASY TO DO SAFELY. Stupid caps lock!

Then you need a spot welder to reassemble. Keep in mind that lately a number of entities are suddenly skittish over battery fires. And of course NYC takes top spot for that, but even the details about their problems are sketchy since nobody can write an accurate news story anymore.
