Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

It looked like an International because of the round headlights. Who does round headlights anymore? My next guess was an old Econoline

That's a shame. My cousin had a Comet like that and he flipped it around 1985 I think. Crushed the top at a weird angle. He gave it to me and I made a few bucks selling parts.

I elected to ride informed this morning. I was sick last week and felt all congested this morning. Maybe, Datlas can weigh in, but I assumed the cold air would make it worse?

It depends on the person, some people react to cold air and others don't. It's not unusual to have extra congestion for 1-2 weeks after a respiratory illness as part of your body's "cleanup" operations.

I sometimes like to ride uninformed. For the adventure.

Back when I was with PenVelo, I rode uniformed, at least on their group rides.

Not knowing where you're at or where you're going always adds a thrilling element to the ride.

Mine, too, but it's going to be a few more years. My '17 Explorer is still going strong. I had my last Explorer for 11 years. I was thinking my next vehicle could be a 2-door, but having a new grandson in the family might make a 4-door a better choice.
