Qualifications for Member Levels?

My search skills failed and I didn’t see this listed anywhere, or at least anywhere I looked. How many posts does it take to go from newbie to junior to senior member?

Is it a contest to move up in member levels? You know you can change that in your user control panel and put whatever you want it to say.

Thanks. I don't think it is a contest, and I didn't know you could change the status. Obviously someone, or some metric, changes these levels automatically based on something for the majority of the users who don't manually change it. I am just trying to learn the criteria for those changes.

I think the junior member and senior member status are recent additions. Maybe a mod can clarify.

I think my member status speaks for itself.

The levels are purely a function of the number of posts from a given member. Junior upgrades to senior at around 50 posts, I think.

If you average 50 posts a day you get the title swollen member.
