700x23 to 700x25?
I have a 2011 Allez. Does anyone know if I can put 700x25 tires on there without any issues? I know it’s only 2mm but I wanted to check if anyone knew for sure before I order new tires. My current ones are pretty bad and have a few bubbles in them so I figured I’d get a bit more comfort from the slightly bigger tires.

You've got the bike right there, take a look. How much extra room is there? More than a couple of mm's? Don't forget to check under the brake too. If it doesn't work most places take returns.

They aren't all the same size. A 25 from one brand can be smaller than a 25 from someone else. I have some GP5000 tires in 25 and they look small, almost like Vittoria 23s.
If you're not sure and you don't want to buy first, see if you can score a junk 25 from a shop or a friend and put it on your bike.

If you can fit a pencil between the tire and all the narrow choke points - seatstays, brake arch, and chainstays - you’ll likely be fine. Though you may want to stick with ‘true’ 25mm tires like a GP5000 or Michelin Endurance Pro 4 (26mm on my rim) if it looks close. Some 25mm tires, like a GP4000 or Conti UltraSport 2, fill out much bigger than stated. I have a 28mm UltraSport 2 that fills out to nearly 32mm.

I fit 25mm tires on a 2003 De Rosa, and a 2008 Specialized Roubaix. I'm thinking unless you have no room with your 23's, 25's will work.

Depends on tire and depends on bike. On my Lynskey I have to run Conti's 23mm on the front or there is not enough clearance above the tire. 25mm on the rear.
But as others have said, the new Conti 5000 tires seen to run smaller than previous versions.

the 25mm GP5000's on this bike (w / Campy Omega 19 rims) measure at just over 23mm pumped to 100 psi

I had a concern about putting 28s on my wife's bike, so I rolled it down to the LBS, asked them nicely if I could try swapping in a wheel from one of the bikes in-store and seeing if it fit, and when it did, I bought a tire from them.

I have a Workswell 093 and it will only accept smallish 28s in the back. Only way to know which 25s might or might not fit your bike is trial and error. I like Leinster's suggestion: test the tire and if ti fits i will buy it.

They fit fine on my 2010 Allez (Vittoria Rubino Pro and Vittoria Open Corsa), and looked like I might have even been able to get 28's in there. I was tempted to try swapping with my Gatorskin 28's just to see, but was too lazy.
