Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Discretion is the better part of valor. It's already windy AF out there, and too much of my route is totally exposed, plus about 8 miles of it would be directly into the teeth of of it, at a time when it's supposed to be 20-30 mph with higher gusts.

I am too old for this nonsense. This is why I don't cancel my Zwift subscription.

Exactly.

Not saying the jockeys add nothing to the equation, but me riding a fast horse could beat the world's best jockey riding a slow horse.

My rona came with a sore throat so bad I couldn't sleep through it. MoAlpha suggested I get tested, due to that alone.. I was only down for a couple days.

We're just starting to see buds on our redbud.

Also, not to sound like VV, but this is looking like it'll the be the Year without Spring, in MN. Well, we've had some proper spring days, with mild temps and sunshine, but they've been few and far between. It's been long stretches of rain/snow mix, with temps in the 30s and 40s, broken up by the odd day of sunshine. Friday and Saturday was probably the nicest (only?) two day stretch of pleasant weather that we've had this year and then - boom - we're looking at 90° next week. I felt a little out of sorts riding in the high-60s yesterday, so I know I'm going to be dragging my tongue the next few weeks.

We are getting 90s this week, too, but we are also in a wind tunnel, again. Hate the wind.

Horrible, schizoid weather this year.
