I'm not complaining. I'm happy to comply with the rules. It's just a matter of understanding what the rules are.

For what it's worth, I think TooOldandSlow is a funny and catchy name while the other one is not.

That's good. I might be stuck with it.

Returning to the main topic of this thread ...

The next mission is to photo your bike at a railroad grade crossing with a locomotive passing by.

Bigfoot. LOL.

It's your call Tooyoungandtoofast, but I would've accepted that video. That was pretty cool. Although, yeah, a bit hard to see the train. Maybe he can be runner up if no one else gets it in a certain amount of time?

I'm 55 even though my user name is FiftySix. I'm slow, but I'm not too old. One reason I ride my bikes is so I feel younger than I really am. I love it when I get to ride at least 3 times per week. The weeks I can't ride kind of bring me down. I missed some Bike Missions due to being sick and throwing my back out about two weeks ago, but I knocked out 3 rides in the last 6 days. Love it.

Well, with apologies to all, it looks like I am once again Fredo_Adagio. Despite objections that the name isn't catchy, I will decline to bug the webmaster about it any further.

With further apologies to Mr. Bill, how about if we wait until Sunday to see if someone can provide an image of a grade crossing with both a locomotive and a bike clearly in the view.

The next mission is to photo your bike at a railroad grade crossing with a locomotive passing by.

Sorry for the multiple posts. Easier when using my phone.

The Altamont Commuter Express train heading through Pleasanton California. The train travels with the locomotive at the rear during the evening commute. Last pic is the locomotive, far left of frame.

For the next mission I would like a picture of wildflowers. Preferably a field or hillside of flowers with your bike. Post up 2 pics. The first pic will be the usual wide angle shot with the bike in frame. The 2nd pic should be a close up picture of the flowers themselves.

My first one! Mission: A real submarine. Does not have to currently be in the water, but must have carried sailors underwater at some point. No toys or small submersibles.

Anybody live in Mobile? They got that Civil War Museum that has one out in the yard. At least about 20 years ago it was there. I forget the name of it...… I think there was a movie about it..... Oh what was it called...….. ??

I was in Portsmouth NH when I thought of that one. There's a great photo op there.

It's a mighty fine light!

BTW Kittery is exactly 50 miles from Nashua. First solo century of the year!

I didn't see any nuclear wessels there today, btw. The photo op is diesel electric and always there.

Ah, I think I know what you're talking about! Is it parked near the USS Alabama in Battleship Park? (I lived down there for a couple of years.)

Ohe yeah--forgot. Bike with good cherry blossoms. If yours are already done blooming or if you don't have those where you are, some other type of blossoming tree. To give more folks a chance to participate, let's say camellias count, too.

Don’t know what kind of tree this is but after last night’s hard rain it is still showing off. Lots if blossoms on the ground too.

Next mission: dark clouds looming, gonna rain soon, with lightning even better. Theme is “trouble ahead, trouble behind, and you know that notion just crossed my mind”. NO rainbows.
