I appreciate the commitment to help out others but this is 10 tears after the most recent post and nearly 11 years after the original post. At this point this is just an archive for reference.

Electra was bought by Trek a few years ago. The Electra Loft 7D is an 700c aluminum Dutch style bike with the crank mounted forward of the seat tube and chain stay junction:

I bought a Loft 7D Women for my wife in 2020 and she likes it a lot. I had to replace the 44T chain ring with a 40T chain ring to lower the range of gear ratios for her.
