Are the wheels 26” or 24”? It looks small. I think this is around a ‘91 model and the STI in the name refers to the shifters now attached to the brake levers aka, Shimano Total Integration. It looks like it needs a new saddle and probably a good tune so 175 seems high to me.

If this is 24” wheels it’s a pass unless you’re very petite or it it for a kid

What's up with that jacked up seat post? Looks like the bike the clown rides in the circus. If you're over 5' tall you probably want to keep looking. If those are the original tires then, they're probably dry rotted. It does have cantilever brakes which are pretty cool. But, don't pay more than $50 for that thing.

Agreed, this is circa 1991. The components appear to be entry level Shimano 200GS. Original MSRP would have been ~ $300 US. The bicycle may be taller than it looks, as the angles at which the photos were shot, tend to make things look shorter, This could be a medium size frame. As for the asking price, it is far too high in my opinion. though I'd be more generous than $50, assuming eveything is in good mechanical condition.

Thats part of what got me wondering about 24” wheels
