I love this Frame
Yeah it's 25 or 26 years old, but I occasionally upgrade the components and ride. Every once and a while I'll lust after the latest carbon offer, in the end there's no reason to move on.

Those poor guys at the Bianchi factory getting let go from employment due to slow sales might have a different point of view.

I just spent a little time cleaning up my twenty-year old LeMond -- swapped in some different wheels and a new saddle, cleaned up the drivetrain, etc. The wife has authorized a new road bike, with no price limit...But I just don't see the point.

1- Bianchi is reshoring. Since you mentioned overseas builds, I thought the link was applicable for more info.
2- Based on multiple Bianchi frame designs, they are hardly just slapping stickers from a pile onto some frames and calling them Bianchi. There is documented r&d that goes I to Bianchi frames.

In ‘95 I rode to a Giro stage finish at the Bianchi factory in Treviglio. There was a neat outlet store there with everything Bianchi. Bonus was that, during the ride there, we saw Pantani out for a spin. He was sitting out the tour due to injury.

That's not a Bianchi titanium, is it?
My 2004 Bianchi Vigorelli lives in CA at my sister's house. I didn't get to take her out (the Bianchi) for a long while due to the pandemic, but made it out there for a month last fall and had a quick trip last week. She doesn't brake quite as smoothly as my Lynskey (disc equipped), and she's definitely noticeably heavier than my Cannondale, but she rides oh so sweetly. I think I got those other two bikes because I couldn't bear to change a thing about her to upset any bit of how she rides. I'm both looking forward to, and dreading, the day I decide to give her a complete overhaul.
Maybe she'll deserve to be retired in near OEM condition and I'll replace her with a new custom bike that matches her geometry...

Sharp bike for sure (I only ride Campy).....I saw a video on Youtube a few years ago about the Bianchi factory in Italy at the time. It was clear the workers were just assembling bikes out of boxed parts with nothing actually manufactured on site. https://www.cyclingweekly.com/group-...8-range-371057

My daily is a 22-year-old Litespeed that I bought used in 2003. It was my “dream frame” then, and I still stop and admire it. Will continue to be my main ride as long as I can get parts

While not as vintage as yours, I’m in a similar situation with my CAAD9.
Sadly, manufacturers are ending production of high end mechanical group sets.

Bianchi is actually finishing up building a new 30,000 S.F.M. (square foot meters) building facility in Treviglio, Italy. 17,000 SFM of the space will be for production. I am sure their low end production will still be made overseas, but they are committing to a bigger place for production in Italy.
