Birthday Ride !

For as long as I can remember I've always taken my birthday off from work. This year is different, and it was only my regular half day Friday instead. I decided to visit a trail network that I found last year and explore it a little more. What a blast as the back side of the trail network is filled with climbs. So, I spent a little over two and a half hours enjoying all the fun nature put out here. I will make sure I get back out here several more times this year.

yes, happy birthday! the older we get, the more of an achievement, each one is! & staying healthy & strong on a bike, is great sign! right on, man!

what did you mean, "back to riding blind"? a new section of trail? regardless, looks like a super nice, super flowy trail & no pockets of snow/ice eh?

Riding blind is for me not knowing the trail and what lies ahead. It's a really fun trail network with some nice climbs to play on. The front of the trail network has a nice flow to it, and the back end has some more challenging climbs.

Happy birthday. We celebrated my mother-in-law's 97th today -- I didn't ask her to ride 97 miles.
