Keeper Super TDF
The Super TDF Looks a lot like this one but has late wheels, cassette, seat and rear derailleur and is a little smaller. I plan on restoring it to original like I have with this one.

On the hunt for any 53-56 CTT Bridgestone frames/bikes if anyone has one they’re looking to part with.
Looking for late 80s or early 90s, peak Grant Petersen era.
let me know!

Anyone want a free peugeot UO-8 frame. 24" from center to top of tube. White. Some rust. Pick up only, 5 miles from Philly on the Jersey side of the river. I thought I'd ask before putting in out front, where the scrappers will make it disappear faster than light. Send a message if interested.

I’ve got an absolutely humongous Raleigh technium pre that I wouldn’t mind rehoming.
I promptly forgot the #s but it’s tall and short, like 64cm ST and 58cm TT.
The tange univega behind it also up for trade.
I need 54-56cm, not picky. Also throw me some tires or something and they’re yours.

****SOLD**** Selling price $15.I was wanting to give it away but asking a few dollars encourages a better quality transaction.
A high quality C and V machine without the hype. Overall I’d say it’s looks pretty decent but has a respectable patina. Missing decals and head badge. I’d prefer to keep the headset but could be talked out of it. Looking to trade for a French or touring frame and fork combo and willing to ship but anybody able to pick it up in person can have it for free. Frame located in San Diego.
Top of the line model Tange Chanpion #2 tubeset SunTour Pro dropouts, see 1984 Catalog: https://www.radiolabworks.com/bikes/...Resolution.pdf

I have been playing with this Raleigh Professional for the last three weeks. It came here via CudaKurt from Miami with damaged top tube paint. A couple of C&V folks say I should put it up for sale here but I am in the pay it forward frame of mind on this one. My only request is that it be built and ridden by a forum member, and that the recipient pay cost of shipping. It is a 61cm built by Carlton 531 frame and fork. Pics:
Frame and fork. New paint for the top tub and is a close match but not perfect.
531 tubes throughout.
Original decals on the down tube.
Carlton cutout lug in BB.
PM me if interested. First come, first in line for it.
This one has been spoken for. Thanks for all who viewed this one.
By now this one should be in a new happy place in St. Paul, MN
Smiles, MH

Well folks,
I am downsizing a bit and trying to get to n-1. And I have a quandry on my hands. I bought a Patelli labeled frame from an e-bay seller in Italy, thinking I would ride it and perhaps keep it. However after looking at it for more than a year, I am kinda thinking it was mis-branded. It is a cute frame and would likely make a good rider. And this where things tangle up on me. I already have a Guerciotti, a Rossin, a Faginn, and a Masi Nuevo strada, and a Ciocc that SwimmerMike just sent me, along with a Raleigh that I have had for a while and one that Brian W sent me. I think I am going to move the Patelli and the Masi along. I'm sure the Masi will sell here on BF, but what to do with this mis-branded Patelli. Is it a good candidate for this thread? Thanks for the help. Smiles, MH

megerthree,
I am just asking my friends here on the forum whether it is a good idea to offer up a mislabeled frame and fork for a forum member. There are always rules with my philanthropy, like you must post pics of your build and promise to ride it, and not flip a bike I send. If I want to send one of my frames to someone who will resell it there is a Co-Op about 1.5 miles from me and they will be a good beneficiary of my philanthropy. HTH, MH

I think it's perfectly ok to post the frame here. Another idea is to start an "Identify This Frame" thread before placing it here. That way we can all have the fun of watching the expert C&V detectives do their work on it.

I rode the hell out of one of those in the late eighties all over San Diego County. Fantastic bike. That Tange tubing could really take the out of saddle stomping in high gear. That could be my frame. My “Rosebud” bike a la “Citizen Kane” I crashed hard once and bent the chainstay tube. La Mesa cyclery, an independent bike shop on La Mesa Blvd in La Mesa, California, welded in a new chain stay tube and Superbe dropout and matched the paint for less than $20. Bike looked like the crash never happened. Those were the days.

Sherman,
I will take some pictures and post them in an identify this frame for you. I am still of a mind to let it go even if it has some bit of a pedigree. Just too many bikes frames here to keep my interest in riding more than building them up. I think my arsenal of good bikes is OK at this point, and I am starting to hold off on new purchases. A few are nice but not enough to hold my interest for a daily driver, I am better off with just enough to have a choice every day. Thanks for the advice. smiles, Professor Peabody

Had this Cannondale for over a year and have not ridden it besides the test drive after refurbing it, anyone willing to trade? The frame is practically mint, its a 58cm which is too big for me, I think something between a 54-56cm would be a better fit for me. Wouldn't mind a Schwinn to compliment my '85 Voyageur and '86 Cimarron.

What's the head tube length? The fat tubes make it harder to gauge what I'm used to.
Also - what size tires are on the bike in the photo?
thanks!

Hey sorry for the late response, it is center to top of seatpost. I'm unsure of the head tube length. I work out of town, so it'll be at least a week until I can measure it. I believe the tires I used were 700x25c

Also - I don't think you'd like my '76 Schwinn Super LeTour as a swap - it's a bit beat, and has none of the original parts on it. It's set up with a mix of Suntour, Shimano, Dia Comp brakes, and Malliard hubs at the moment. Probably the Suntour will get swapped for Shimano soon...
