Surly Pugsley Riders Unite!

I started a Google Group for Surly Pugsley Owners. If you've got a Pug or are interested in getting one please join and meet up with other freakishly fat rubber riding bike owners....

Pugsleys 24/7 what could be better...LMAO.....

Dude!......That's dangerous....we put two icy cold cans on either side of our specially made beer lids and were able to sip some tasty Pacifico while keeping both hands safely on the bars!....

I wish my region justified having a Pugsley. We just don't get the snow. And I don't have a beach to ride on either. But that bike is the bomb! 294's do it for me.

I only have snow here for 4 months of the year and no beach unless I drive 1000kms+...yet I'll be rocking the Pugsley all year....you'll get tons of use out of it without the benefit of sand or snow...

Done here in Cincinnati, we get less snow than you do, but we are looking at "parting out" our Cannondale F5 MTB's and getting a Pugsley. They just look like too much damn fun to resist!

My LBS has a Pugsley frame (in my size, gulp) hanging in the back of his shop. It beckons to me. Someday, someday...

This bike is a blast to ride around town. I still haven't taken it to the beach yet.
If you want to see plenty of photos of the build and the bike in action go to my build journal at ratrodbikes

I haven't posted an update of Fugsley in a long time.
Dahon folding bike with Harley Davidson tires and OCC STingray frame parts and a water ski rack thrown in.
You can see the entire build diary on Rat Rod Bikes here
https://www.ratrodbikes.com/forum/vie...p?f=21&t=44315

Here is the frame with no tires.

And with tires

Love the fugsly, but do you have any pics of it being ridden? It may just be the perspective in your photos but it looks like the cranks are too close the seat/handlebars to make riding it very comfortable. Seems like knees would be hitting the bars or my chin on each revolution.

Thanks!

How about a video of me riding it. The seat-crank-bars geometry is still the same as a Dahon Classic. No issues at all with knees. The seat and bars can even go up a bit higher for a taller person.
Here is a video of me riding Fugsley (my monster folding beach bike).
Here is the video - https://youtu.be/XTVrW-D-Vak
