Name that British Maker

Alright all, trying to help someone with an identification project. Who can tell me the manufacturer of this bike? Clearly one of the many models made for Queen Elizabeth's coronation. Has a Hercules frame pump, but that is no guarantee of anything, and i checked the 1953 Hercules catalogue - no match. Any definitive answers or guesses are appreciated. Photos may not be great, but they are all i have:

Supply pictures of the fork crown, headtube and rear dropouts. Also, you might want to pull off the little cover on the chaincase near the cranks and see what the chainwheel looks like. From what I see in the full bicycle picture it looks like a Hercules.

I would check the hubs for markings too. I agree with Photogravity, looks like a Herc.

Ha! There was a thread about that coronation decal a few months back, on a Hercules. I think the thread was started by @gbalke. Maybe he'll weigh in. My money is on Hercules, though.

This thread certainly helps me, I get to see what the decal on my 1953 Hercules Popular actually looks like. This is the thread I started that Rudy mentioned:

This Hercules ad may be of interest:

Now that I'm looking closer at that decal on the fender I am convinced it is a Hercules. The decal is a stylized representation of the Hercules head badge. Mystery solved.
