Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

LA Tweeting

Hi All....

Have not posted here in a while (just getting back onto the trainer up here in the snow and cold as I prepare for another season of riding) but I had to share this Lance Armstrong note just in case some of you are not hip to this.

His latest entries on Twitter feature some really cool photos of his training in Hawaii.

FYI...he says he will be Tweeting from races this season too. I just think it's way cool.

Hi, Hip!

Good to see you - I've been following Lance on Twitter, too - cool to watch the training, the photos, etc. Dave Zabriskie, Taylor Phinney, Johann, and Chris Carmichael are on there as well.

Hip, what's your twitter ID?

Stay warm,

Beth

Beth...
Big George and Floyd Landis are also on my follow list.
You can find me as simply as Phil Cianciola.

I am going to try to get to PA in '09.
Maybe we can hook up with my sister for a group ride....would be fun.

HI RAD...long time.

Hi, Hip -

I'm now one of your "followers". You'll find a quite a few PA local journalist/radio people on mine as well

PA bike tour in '09? Rad, you in too?

Beth
