Need is such a relative term - New Jack Kane K-Team

Locally made, I'm buying from the frame builder. And with Campy no less

https://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...E:B:BOCOR:US:1

The price was right, the Blue has seen 2 seasons of racing, and this time next year I won't be in a financial position to be able to sling a nice new bike (Army Staff Sergeant pay to college student on the GI Bill and part time work).

Gonna be sweet. Plus this will force me to unload one of the MTBs, as well as the Blue in the Spring. I'm leaning towards eBaying the current wheels along with a couple other sets of Al race wheels to try to break even on a set of carbon race wheels.

If Jack himself doesn't build the specific bike, it gets done either in the shop by an employee or in a "nearby facility" so, not Taiwan

Pez did a write up on them a while back:

Snuff-

That's nice. Hamblen rides one of those during road season, so by my estimation, you should now be just as fast as he is. Right?

Wow, not only is it a nice bike but if we ever ride together in the dark I won't need to bring a light. Your glow-in-the-dark bike will be plenty.

truckin,

I'll let you know how that works out. I think my Power Tap might be broken though, seems to be reading way too low

Damocles,

Jack mentioned that they'd just sold off the previous year's team bikes, for 1300 - used - and his son was chiding him for unloading this new one for 1350.

Steve,

The pearl in the paint rocks, it looks great in sunlight. Passers by are blinded...

Without divulging too much. Of course the frames are imported, painted by Jack and sold under his brand. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this, it's done all the time by different manufacturers (term used loosely). Having said that he is a talented machinist, frame builder and mechanic and at one time a hell of a good friend.

Nice. The front triangle looks like a tube set KHS was using a few years back.
