Indoor cycling apps monthly/annual subscriptions

Do you prefer monthly or annual subscription plans for indoor cycling apps?
I know many do not use their trainers during summer time but there are more and more voices advocating for training indoors also during summer due to the specificity of the indoor training (better for interval sessions, no traffic, …).
Did you change your approach lately or still keep using the trainer only during winter? Im asking because of the “black friday” offers of for example -25% Rouvy or newly -17% on Zwift annual plan, and if these offers are actually that beneficial for the users of the indoor cyclings apps.
What are your thoughs, opinions?

monthly. only time i use a trainer in summer is when forest fires cause outdoor air to be unhealthy to ride in.

i'd need to do the math but if the discount for a year is less than the monthly price i'd be using then i'd go for the year.

I would pay monthly if you are not sure at this point how much you will use it over the summer. If you are going to train indoor all year round then obviously the annual discounts are better.

I only ride virtually. Got hit by a car on my last training ride and now my only outdoor rides are little toodles around with the family. As such, I'm in for the discounts associated with yearly.

Rouvy had nice deals this Black Friday, I finally also got a nice one for an annual sub. In the end, it is nice asset to have a possibility to ride indoors also during the summer when the weather is not the best or I'm too busy with work and can only do shorter workouts, better from home.

With Zwift's new yearly subscription, you essentially get 12 months for the cost of 10 monthly payments - same as taking off July/August (or Jan/Feb for you southern hemisphere types) but you can still ride on rainy days in those months!
