Nice score, beautiful bike. You can't really go wrong with a 700 series Trek. Is that the SR crank with the 118 bcd rings? I can't tell you how many old Treks I've seen with that. Lucky for you that your rings are in great shape as replacement rings can be a pain to find.

Really cool find there! Classic sports-tourer imo.

I would advise to carefully equi-tension at least the rear spokes any time that a narrow Rigida rim is on there.

Lucky for you there is no Helicocraptic rear hub!!!

Never trust old tires, especially at pressures even approaching their rated psi.
