Bring a 5mm and 6 mm Allen wrenches with you. Make sure that the stem and seat post are NOT stuck. Ask me how I know.....

Nice Miele. Hard to find the higher end ones.I had a Miele Triomphe with some messy welds but it was light and fast. Frame was Aelle with Campy Triomphe of course. I think it was 85? I also had a light green one with 105 and Cromor, another black one with Ishiwata 022 and gold anodized sun tour stuff. They used to be easy to find in Canada.

The Miele is Canadian made and a quality bicycle (my opinion). I have owned, restored and ridden several, over the years.
When seeking value, I need to know where the bike is, condition, top and seat tube lengths(c-c), shipping cost(if applicable). The list does go on but for this purpose, those criteria should be adequate.
Value? The $300 or $375 suggested is reasonable. Personally, I would go as high as $275 Canadian or $225 US. But that is just me. Also - take the bike for a short ride. If it pulls to one side or the other, then the frame or fork or both are bent = walk away and thank your lucky stars you spotted the structural damage before purchasing the bike(I doubt that the Miele in question has suffered any frame or fork damage but you gotta know before a purchase).
The check to ensure that the seat post and steering stem are not stuck. Stuck posts and stems can be a real pain to remove and, as often as not, need to be replaced once removed. Best of luck with the bike. I might even still have a set of NOS Miele handlebar end caps.
