Trouble shifting into 25t cog
I'm trying to my upgrade my road bike to 10 speed, and for some reason I can't get the rear dérailleur to shift into the largest rear cog. It will get close when the adjuster is turned all the way inboard, but it just jumps back and forth between the two largest cogs. I've fiddled with the limit screw until the dérailleur starts to rub the spokes, but it still won't stay on the 25t cog. Is it possible that I cut the chain too short? For reference purposes, I'm using a 105 12-25 cassette and chain (both 10 speed of course), Microshift rear dérailleur and shifters. Any guidance I can get from more experienced folks would be much appreciated.

FWIW, put your chain on the inner ring when setting the low limit screw.
How is the shifting through the rest of the cogs? Is the chain on the upper pulley clear of the large cog? Otherwise, I'm thinking insufficient cable tension, bent hanger, or even a problem shifter if all else checks out.
