Ford High Wheeler?
This bike is owned by my stepfather and I promised him I would post it here for him. I kind of owed him as he went and paid for and picked up a couple vintage French bikes for me in the last couple of weeks.
The notable thing about this bike is that it has a Ford logo on it. However, the logo is upside down, which led me to think this bike is a home built that used a Ford car part for at least part of the frame. I really know next to nothing about this kind of cycle, but any and all opinions, critiques and insults are welcome.

And a shot I thought worth including because it cracks me up. Almost makes me want to try riding one of these things. The stepdad has offered, but man, that's a long way to fall off a bicycle.

That's a pretty tall High Wheeler with a fairly short crank it does look to be a limited production home built. Looks like a fun ride.

Still pretty cool bike, though. The Ford logo makes me wonder about the bikes history. Factory foundry worker on break-time? One-off experiment or prototype? Who knows.

Base2, thanks for the clarification. In the recesses of my mind I knew there was a difference, but honestly, hadn't thought about it in a long time. I like your guesses about the bike's origin too. I suspect that with no known history that may be as close as we get.
