I'm just bumping this to the top. I cannot help you but Maruishi, I did have an RX 6. Mine was made at the time the the company was waning. It was very sharp, good road geometry, good feel.

Tie me kangaroo down, Sport!

Hello Lotussiddharta,

welcome to the forum.

I do not have an Maruishi catalogue information about Maruishi Emperor. In Japan, several of the Maruishi models were called Emperor.

Most of the North American Maruishi Emperor models that I have seen are from the 1970s. I have not seen an Emperor (Racing Force). In general, the Emperor models were the premium models.

Edit: missed that there's a later-model Emperor Racing Force, not like what's at the link I posted

Have you seen Catnap's article and rebuild on his website? https://djcatnap.com/maruishi-empero...-touring-bike/

Depends on the age.

There are more recent Race Force models made out of aluminum:

and there were older ones made in the 90s out of steel, like Kaisei 019(E) quad butted tubing, which should make them petty nice bikes:

I have an earlier example. Hi-tensile tubing throughout.
