Beach Cruiser upgrades

I'm new to Bike forums so this is my first question. I bought a SixThreeZero cruiser with a coaster brake. Nice bike but I like to fiddle with stuff as a hobby. I was looking to change the gear ratio (currently 44/18) switch out the rear wheel to free wheel hub and install a front break. I did a overhaul with my Gary Fisher Tiburon (a 20yr+ old bike) converting it to single speed. Does the 630 have a one piece crank?
any suggestions I would appreciate and please go easy with the tech, I’m a meat and potatoes guy!

Easiest way is to swap out the rear cog .
I put 24 tooth cogs on my Electra 1’s . The brand was Sturmey Archer , but most interchange .
With a screwdriver, carefully remove the retainer clip , swap gears and stretch the clip back on .
I usually start near the gap in the clip and work around and up to remove.
With the 24 tooth rear , I spin out around 9-10mph , but it’s not about speed with a cruiser , it’s comfort and ease of pedaling for me .

The cheapest way to go too .
I couldn’t find the 24 tooth available on Amazon , but did find the 22tooth .
just search for “

Shimano Nexus 22T sprocket for Nexus geared hubs 22 teeth .
