A ride to the shoreline..

Hey folks!

Was joined by Mr Money of Strida Bikes Malaysia and Kamo, the official Strida Ambassor on a 78km ride from Morib - Bagan Lalang. (Initially, we wanted to head to Port Dickson, but decided to head towards Bagan Lalang instead)

Thank you Mr Money, for the Jipun Char Koay Teow treat and the awesome Sang Yuk Pow!

Here are some highlights in photos..

Michelle and her Jetstream

The Stridaguys setting up their ride..

Samo, sweeping Kamo...

A cool customer along the route..

There's ample room for motorbikes and bicycels enroute from Morib to Tg Sepat..

Great photos. Did the Stridas have any gearing? When I saw the resort I thought how cool but you made the comment crappy, how so? Thanks for sharing your adventures with us.

Nice travelog, makes me want to visit one day. Are you a chef by any chance? Your sig suggests it and food seems to play an important part in your journey. In my travels I've always preferred little stands off the beaten path.

Seeing Stridas 'in the wild' has piqued my interest. The pics give a good feel of their scale and how they handle in a not so urban landscape.

PS - From seeing the after photo of the bike, seems fenders would be a good idea. Not only do they keep 'road soup' off the rider, they help keep abrasives out of the works.

Cheers

Thanks for your kind words buddy.. The Stridas are single-speed bikes.. Very quiet though!

The resort? Mmmpph! Lousy service and very overpriced for Malaysian standards..

I am a food and travel writer.. hahaha! And thanks for the word on fenders.. Jetstreams are 'sport' bikes, so, we sacrifice fenders for road soup, gunk and all that dirt.. ahhahah!
