Cinelli Supercorsa 1991
It has sort of a dogs breakfast of parts, but what is this thing worth? Most of my interest is in the frame.
Seller says it's a 1991. It's at the bottom of my size range but curiosity has me returning to look at the ad (it's local) and I'd like some guesses.

Just look at solds on frame sets only on eBay. Deduct about 20% for local. Realize seller will have at least 15% in fees on eBay, plus they will have to pack and ship. When I sell a bike, if I can get 65% or more of eBay pricing, I will GLADLY sell locally.
Beautiful frame there!
Parts have essentially zero value as far as valuing the bike itself. The Brooks saddle and DA crankset do have good value.
+10 make sure stem and seat post are not stuck.

Frame and fork, I'd say $800-1000 + whatever you feel the parts are worth. I got my '89 frame/fork NOS for $700 and feel like I got a steal. Seatposts jammed that far in always make me nervous. You can also use the sticker on the seat tube to negotiate the price down.

a friend bought a bike recently where one would fully expect the correct size... was under
there was no reason other than whoever had fitted the post just did not have the correct size.

Yes the seller listed the bike a week ago for $1,000 firm but I think there may be some wiggle room, especially with cash in hand.
The seat post concerns are valid, so a post and stem check would be done if I checked the bike out in person.
The sticker on the down tube is registration, and not easily removed.

Assuming you have a pile of parts, I'd have no problem paying $1000 for that bike. I figure I'd get $150 to $200 back on the saddle and crankset.

Yes, if you get to that point, have the seller agree to you removing the tape. I had one bike I bought from a shop, that had the price tag taped in an odd spot on the top tube. Sure enough, the tag covered a nasty dent on the top tube.

The bell mounted to the down tube cable stop is a little concerning, hope they didn't do a weird tap or drill out to make that work.
Is that a standard location for a bell? Doesn't ring true for me.

Maybe in the $500-600 range ? But if you already have all the stuff to rework it, maybe it's worth more to you ? Be careful on that "lower limits of my size range" business.

I have a (nearly) full Super Record group in my collection that I've been waiting to hang on a worthy frame, so this could work.
Pretty wild how different value estimates are for this. I could probably get out from underneath it pretty easily in case it doesn't work for me, just not as a local sale.
