Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

DMT Knit Shoes

Looking for some insight into sizing on DMT knit shoes. Specifically KR0 or KR SL. An older pair of Shimano 320's in 44.0 have been the best fit I've had in recent years. Out of what I've tried recently Giro Empires in 44.5 were close but narrow in the toes, notable after a couple hours. Lake CX 332 in 44.5 fit more or less but just don't feel like the right shape.

There isn't a standardized foot shape that every manufacturer uses. They all build their shoes on lasts that are what they think is the ideal foot shape of their customers.

Some of us can wear shoes of various different brands. You might just need to stick to Shimano. But your Shimano shoes might have just been comfortable because that's all you knew at the time and they wore in to you or your feet wore into them.
