Tall FUSO

This had been in the works for quite awhile, finally got it to me after dragging my feet for too long.

I've seen it stated that Dave didn't make many tall ones but I don't know, I have another much later one that is not as cool to me as the older ones like this, love the colorway on these.

Tx!

Well, I've called this out many times so here it is again, Dave measured his frames an olde English way that he was taught.

CTC + 2cm, this frame is stamped 64 but is 62 CTC. This method accounts for the varying seatlug designs, points and flourishes.

Dave also states that he never would have done it this way had he known better. I think it is a good way to do it but you have to understand it for it to work.

I also have a 62 that is of course 60cm CTC.

Bottom line is this one is at the bottom of my true range but its going to work anyway.

Great score. Fusos are among the very best "off the peg" frames ever made, and certainly among the best looking. Enjoy the build, but mostly enjoy the ride.

Tx, not sure, honestly it should be way down in the queue but being a big one like I need, it may get bumped up if I can get a solid vision with parts on hand which are fairly plentiful.

We'll see.

That frame is just my size. Those are nice bikes. I owned one until a couple years ago but had to let it go because it was too small. I thought I could get it to work but couldn't. Probably the best $100 investment I ever made for a bike.

I also have a bit rough 62 that I was going to try and make work but didn't get there yet, now this one and maybe an even the bigger 65 will get built.

I see yours has the "twisty" ST caps also, I hadn't noticed those before this new one, guess I will ask Dave about them.

Going to send him the info on all 4 that I have.
