Love Is In The Air
Fell in love again last week. It started out as an affair, a fling, a flirting with the past and has become a full on, full fledged heart throbbing love affair. Raleigh Competition GS, I LOVE YOU!
Why, oh boy, why did I let you go for so long? Sitting there on the wall for decades, gawked at, but unloved. I needed a change and you were there ready for me to jump on board and ride! What a life! I am in love again.

I bought it new in 81. Raced it and put it in my display collection for a very long time. Very happy I kept it all these years, and very happy my wife puts up with my display cause without it I don't know where that bike would be now.
My daughter did find someone special online, however, and he is a really nice guy, and solid as a rock. An introvert just like her! I am surprised those sites have actual good people on them. I figured they'd just be a bunch of creepers.
