New wheels

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

New wheels

After a bit more than year and about 5 k miles I decided to upgrade my wheels. The Bianchi Infinito came with Fulcrum wheels and I figured the first real upgrade would be going to carbon wheels. Looking forward to ride tomorrow to see how the bike feels. Looking for a bit more performance and a more nimble ride.

Had a great ride this morning. The new wheels do make a difference in the bike. Tried some hills and it was easier to pump up hills. Please with the way the bike feels as it does seem more light on its feet.

Interesting you have the same bike with Nir wheels. His shop is down the street from my office. I heard his wheels were well done so I decided to give them a try. Really a nice guy running a great shop.

Got my bike online via Bike Exchange through their shop. Nir was supper and had several phone conversations with him regarding the bike and the wheels he built. They are really nice and built with high quality components. Have zero issues mounting Continental TLs on them. Nir is first class and wish he had his shop up here. You are lucky.
