Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Followed by a small army insisting he’s awesome and totally worth the money.

Really I just want to see that team stymied in a contentious contract dispute and set back for years.

I want to see the Cowboys go 9-7, and miss the postseason. and the Patriots go 2-14(last place in the NFL).

And I want the Patriots just out of that new third wild card slot. Going to be an odd feeing if they lose enough I start wanting them to win a few.

MD crab soup in a bread bowl FTW. Stopped for some during a 90 ride from Kennet Square, PA, to Baltimore. Perfect on a cold, wet day.

Speaking of tubeless, I am going to replace the valve on the wheelbarrow wheel, but will need to find a way to re-seat the bead. No way I can do this with my bike pump or even with a C02.

I see some pretty cool YouTube videos that involve lighter fluid and a match. Anyone ever try this??

Yep. When the tire truck was too busy, we would mount our tires in the pits. Starter Fluid was the show, and that tire would jump.

The silver lining was that the timing wasn't too bad. The low pressure light came on, but I ignored it because it has a history of false positives. A few minutes down the road, the car started to noticeably drift to one side, but we were less than a mile to our destination - the bike shop. The wife needed a helmet and I needed some new tubeless valves, so she did a little shopping while I swapped the wheel in the parking lot.

Good for you. My weight is a CV gain of 18# but my overnight HR avg. is ~38-39 again, probably from all of the riding.

Just put a tube in it. Problem solved.

Tubeless on lawn equipment = problem waiting to happen.

I don't know if you people have Jimmy Dean sausage in your area but we've been getting commercials for 6 months or so narrated by Jimmy Dean who died 10 years ago. Always freaks me out when I hear dead celebrities hawking goods on TV.

I was surprised at how well it worked. There's a little ridge, at the lift points on the undercarriage, and a corresponding valley on the jack. Lifted very easily and securely, and felt pretty solid (but I was smart enough to break the bolts free before jacking).

The hardest part about those is lining up the lug holes on the rim and hub. Studs do serve a purpose.
