Thanks for posting this. Great review. Although I have to say that the Tommaso bike in the ad is just pure mid-1980s eye candy.

I like the way the reviewer talks about the benefits of Shimano Light Action and SIS. Then you have the Galli advert for a derailleur without gimmicks. Its like you're witnessing a changing of the guard. Thanks for posting. I love reading these reviews.

Yes, the Tommaso looks gorgeous, but it having that pristine and expensive white Almarc leather handlebar cover makes it seem to be "untouchable" to mortal cyclists....

That’s definitely the way I felt when I saw that ad originally back in the day. The image of that bike stuck with me all these years…
