Someone suggested I really needed these, in order to ride my gold-colored Robust in style. I totally agreed.
And waddaya know, they were on sale somewhere.

Purchased 2 of these Giro Trinity helmets. I've finally retired my helmet of 9 years. Arrived earlier than expected.

Dia Compe ENE front rack. Made for mounting onto Dia Compe center-pull brakes, which means they fit Weinmann calipers as well.
The spiritual successor to the old TA mini rack.

Today I got a box of rust on a right sized for me frame. Pics:
Lots of rust on the cable guides
Lots of rust on the chain stays
Fancy markings on the fork crown
Frame must have fifteen identifying decals on it. I don't think the maker intended that many decals.
So It got a ride to the north side of Indianapolis to be treated for the cancer and recoated by my friends at Pro Kote Indy. They have been swamped by mechanics from race teams ( Drag and Nascar and one or two Indy car, also a few Monster truck drivers) getting tool trays coated for race events. Those trays take a beating at events, and the powder coat stands up quite well. I suspect things will slow down right before the season starts. In the first couple of months the sponsor money flows freely and then dries up as the season progresses. A big shout out to Swimmer Mike and jdawg for sending this one my way. Now to make room for it! Smiles, MH

Esquartz pedals I bought here from sixer . A couple of months ago I couldn't find a decent pair with toe clips so I'm happy with these. I expect them to clean up nicely while I drink bourbon and watch Wagon Train this weekend. They will go on my '84 Raleigh Competition.

It’s always cool to find tools that are complete! I looked on line to see about this freewheel tool and found all kinds of opinions and other incomplete similar tools: great price and a complete tool, so, I bought it! So many of my bicycles are of this era and should, if I follow all the recommendations and opinions should get some use out of it!

I got a few random bits from different places: a nice pair of Campagnolo SR pedals with Binda straps and Campagnolo clips from hazetguy ; a Red Clover triplizer ring (produced by forum member jonwvara ); and a long cage for my Colnago's Campagnolo Super Record RD. hazetguy was kind enough to throw in an extra pair of Christophe straps (though these Binda straps still seem quite useable to me). Now I'm just waiting on a longer Campagnolo BB to arrive from overseas, so I can convert my Colnago to a triple in preparation for Eroica CA. At least that's the plan...

Another step closer to my 1978 Raleigh Pro. A nice set of well used SL Campagnolo pedals! These are my favorite pedals and I have them on a few of my bikes, two sets of which are titanium spindles. I was glad to see they were OEM for my Raleigh. I guess I technically only need one set but I don’t like having to take parts from one bike to ride another. When I first bought the frame , I was just going to randomly put parts on the bike but the closer I get to having everything, the more I want it to be correct. ( within reason)

Octalink BB for installing on my commuter, so that I could reuse a cranckset from my old MTB. Replacing the old chain with the MTB chain and cassette in one go, ... unfortunately the RD didnt fit... yet. And I have to recalibrate the FD a tad.
