Chainrings for 3 bolt Sugino Maxy?

I am in need for some replacement chainrings for my 3 bolt double Sugino Maxy. I've heard they're pretty rare. Does anybody have any NOS ones that would fit or know of any places I could find some?

Places I've found so far- yellowjersey.org (only have 46, 48 and 49 teeth ones) and ebay (to no avail). Anywhere else?

Thanks

Sam

I've seen rings for the 3-arm Stronglight and TA cranksets come up on eBay fairly regularly, but I have no idea if they're compatible with the Sugino. Sorry!

Perhaps from a second set of Maxy cranks? Or maybe look for a donor bike with the same cranks?

I have at least 4 rings... but they are all 40t. Two are alloy and 2 steel. I think the Maxy 3-pin had the outer ring attached. I might have a full 3-bolt Maxy crankset in a 165mm. They are all available if you want them.

Is it the crank in the lower right in this picture:

What teeth are you looking for? I am pretty sure the bike shop I work at has a couple of them NOS. I will check tomorrow when I work what the teeth count is and how much and send the info along.

Sorry for the mega late reply, thanks for all your help. I ideally need 170mm crankset with possibly 50-34 tooth rings on? Im gonna try and find a donor bike but if worst comes to worst then can I buy a new stronglight compact set? I think its the XD500 or something, I may have to get a new BB aswell?

Anymore ideas? I love my Dawes tourer and I want to keep it going!

cheers

redxj,

im at work at the mo and your picture is blocked but will have a look when i get back home. By the way I'm based in the UK. But I'd be more than willing to get a NOS set set over here if its possible?
