Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

an NOS Record UT Crank.

Not sure if anyone here has seen this or not, but the NOS 10s UT Record cranks can be had for fairly decent prices now. And not just the ocassional buy, but regularly available from a couple sellers.

I just picked on up on Ebay for a standard price of $325 shipped.

The seller has a fairly good supply of STD ($325) and CT cranks ($350). I considered the CT, but I don't want to have to dig around for a new fr.der.

Granted they are the older 10s UT cranks, but still top notch for the money. Especially if you have the older 10s Record group like I do, and want to ditch the FSA crank I had to settle with at the time.

Here's one of them.

^^ I know, you can find them for $300. However, not all the time, I've been watching.

Was the one for $175 new, or used?

If new....

That's what happened to me. Got a Centaur carbon UT compact crank from BonkTown for $199 + shipping. Still had to buy the cups, but the price was great.
