Do you want suspension - Grizl offers it

Notices
Cyclocross and Gravelbiking (Recreational) This has to be the most physically intense sport ever invented. It's high speed bicycle racing on a short off road course or riding the off pavement rides on gravel like : "Unbound Gravel". We also have a dedicated Racing forum for the Cyclocross Hard Core Racers.

I ended up getting a Lauf True Grit. I've had it for about 3 weeks and did my first longish gravel race on it today (75 miles). It was fantastic - my arms and wrists were less fatigued, and I definitely felt like I had more control on fast sections. No regrets at all - I love it.

The Lauf Grit is awesome. I wet with the Redshift Sports stem and seat post to get some suspension and it transformed my Stigmata. I feel like I have 29x3.0 tires at 10 PSI except not much rolling resistance. If I ever wanted to do even more, I'd get the Lauf. I think 20-30mm travel is fantastic for gravel bikes...less fatigue and joints feel better. I do mountain bike so maybe that is why I like some suspension.

I hear ya. My last MTB was a rigid ss 2015 Kona Unit. I put a nice suspension fork on it at one point and it lasted about 2 weeks before it came off. Even locked out I couldn't get past the feeling that it was sucking my energy out of the front of the bike. So, no, I don't want suspension on my gravel bike.

That's funny -- my rigid MTB is a Unit X. What a great bike!

The only reason I don't still have it was I had bought wrong size--I determined after riding the heck out of it for about 3 years it was too big! I do miss that bike.
