I'd get some kevlar shorts to prevent having to have a doctor pluck carbon fiber shards from my unmentionables. Some years ago I bought a Serfas titanium saddle, it was all titanium with a thin bit of padding glued to the top. The CIA could have used it as an "enhanced interrogation" device. Surprisingly, I was able to sell it on eBay for almost twice what I paid for it.

I will try out this Hylix carbon fibre saddle on my old Bianchi as soon as I get a day when it is not snowing or raining, but if it turns out to be like your Serfas titanium saddle, an "enhanced interrogation" device, I will flog it ... and hopefully, (like you did), sell it on CraigsList for twice what I paid for it. Should be easy to double my money!
