Finally got my bottle cage. Wanted to get one dark blue cage and one orange cage but they were sold out of the dark blue. I might go back and get another orange one.

Now if one cage didn't match the other I'd be rocking myself to sleep tonight after alphabetizing the fridge.

This is all of course completely hypothetical for me at this point.

Saw that, do like the dimensions better than the Foundations (and it's a much better effort than the 302 was). However, I'm not sure I'd want what would almost amount to official knockoff Zipps (not made in USA, no dimples, CX-Sprint) with thought-provoking Zipp hubs when for the same price I could got the Aeolus 3v, or I could save a massive pile and get LBs or other well-regarded China-OEM wheels. And neither of those will get the question "so why no dimples?" at a group ride. Or Reynolds, especially as they may be on sale at MBS at times during the year.
This is all of course completely hypothetical for me at this point.

LB are *very* tempting, I was close to pulling the trigger on a set based on AR46 rims, but those world have been hooked. If I'm going to do something stupid like hookless rims, I'd rather have a company with a little more research behind me, like Zipp. And 60/63psi on 28s sounds devine.

Not yet - but now that i know those sun sleeves exist, my life will not be complete till i own a pair. And since i only wear trisuits for races and prefer jersey/shorts for training, those sun sleeves are gonna be rocked with a sleeveless jersey. Nothing says sexy like that little bit of exposed shoulder...
Oh and for my roadie brethren, here is something that Bah Humbug has not revealed about that trisuit:

I never understood that. Either use sunblock or get a sleeved suit. Or be racing a sprint and don’t care.

I COULD wear a normal cycling jersey and sleeves with tri shorts, but that would set off my OCD something fierce- all my cycling kit is paired (one jersey with one specific set of bibs).
PS: Sorry, started to edit the post after i made it, got called away and by the time i finished, i got ninja-ed by your reply.

I think they started adding that feature in an attempt to get triathletes to quit messing in their shorts. Hopefully, it's working ...

It's a P2, rebuilt with Di2, a Quarq, Rotor aero rings, Hed Jets, and just lots of goodness all around. I was fit on it by one of the best tri fitters in the country, and in aero with room to run it is outstanding. More comfortable than any road bike I've ever ridden. Still don't love it in town or with twisties though.
Also, I love my HED Jet+ front wheel. For the money it's incredibly fast.
That's a good helmet choice if trying to not overheat in a triathlon. Aero and more airy than a full TT helmet.

I’m in the market for a nice endurance bike and reached out to a Cervelo dealer, inquiring about a C3. Here’s what I got back via email.....
Hi. due to quality issues we've pulled away from selling Cervelo.
Please don’t shoot me, I’m just looking for a bike. Can anyone enlighten me further?

The 2008 team soloist is the finest bike I've owned. This was an aluminum bike with sort of an art deco(ish) paint style that I thought was really spiffy. Overall, a very nice and extremely durable design. I'd probably still be riding it today if I hadn't been hit by a car more than once on that thing. The bottom bracket was a simple external screw-on that was stupid simple to service. The internal cabling seemed reasonably easy to work with. With the exception of the weird reversible seatpost, this was an exceptional bike, and the price was outstanding. The 2014 was... well, it was a bike. I had the same problems with the bottom bracket; I'd go through a bearing set every 3-6 months until I finally broke down and got the BBInfinite module, which was very effective. The little screws for the derailleur hanger kept getting smushed and deformed because of where they're located--I'd have to drill those out. My rear dropout failed and cracked. The headset bearings started failing. The steerer tube is disintegrating.
Most of those are generally fixable if somewhat expensive problems, but the difficulty I've had is getting any support from Cervelo through the local LBS. Ever. From multiple shops. I couldn't get seatpost parts like shims or the headset--I'd have to order a whole new steatpost off eBay or maybe Excel Sports in Boulder if I was lucky. For a while there, Cervelo wouldn't allow people to sell their bikes online, so it was even harder to get the parts I needed to service the bike. I couldn't get a replacement fork. And I could never get new headset bearings from Cervelo either, which is part of the reason that the steerer tube is disintegrating. The bike would be out of commission for months waiting for parts to appear, and this was pre-pandemic for most of them.
I do a fair amount of my own work on the bike, but I've also used LBSs like Conte's in D.C. particularly when I don't have the time, energy, or expertise to complete a repair myself. I've found their mechanics able and honest, but the fact is that they can't fix a bike for which they can't get parts. I'm sure the professional racers are cared for quite well, but I don't have the same access to their support. The S3, for me, was a very responsive, good looking bike that was very comfortable to ride. But I can't ride a bike that I can't get fixed. And I'm sure Conte's got sick of cases like mine, which probably contributed to their decision to drop Cervelo. Conte's has a pretty broad portfolio of bike brands--BMC, Pinarello, Cannondale, and Orbea--so dropping Cervelo probably wasn't a tough choice for them.
