Camera Software

I've been using a Garmin VirbX camera for a few years now. It does the job and has served me pretty well, but the built in stabilization is very much put in the shade by modern cameras like GoPro. In fact, it really doesn't do much. On the other hand, I really like the Virb software, which allows me to embed speed, track, cadence, etc into the video.

If I was to replace the camera, is there some software that would allow me to do the same job using data from my Garmin Edge? Sadly, Garmin don't seem to be doing Virb cameras anymore - only the Varia rear view camera.

Some gopro have built in gps. this allows you to overlay say speed, map etc...

I was on a MUP when I came on this BMX with a full face helmet doing 17mph! I was impressed. This was with my gopro camera. I used the free gopro camera software. I can't remember if it was on my phone or computer ATM.

I used the Garmin Virb program with my GoPro videos. Check You Tube for some ideas if you have a problem.

Thanks. I'd assumed that wasn't possible but I'll have a search.
